Manchester Office Launch, CoStar Group UK

On Wednesday 25th February 2015, we were kindly invited by CoStar Group UK to cater their corporate drinks and canapé reception  for their recent investment in new offices at 1 Marsden Street, Manchester.

Situated on the 11th floor, arriving guests were treated to amazing panoramic views across the Manchester city skyline and enjoyed chilled Champagne from our dedicated wine waiters and bar staff.

While guests mingled and introductions were made, canapés were served from bespoke canapé platters with branded cocktail napkins. A unique selection of twelve deliciously different canapés in a starter, main and dessert style was chosen.

We started with a selection of three cold canapés as the starter; Smoked Salmon Crepes, Mozzarella and Sun Blushed Tomato Crostini and Whipped Goats Cheese on Homemade Oatcake. Guests munched their way through copious amounts of these, especially the Smoked Salmon Crepes, before we moved them onto our main course sections.

A selection of six hot canapés ensued. Trays came back to the kitchen empty as guests enjoyed the catering on offer. The canapés barely hit the sides as Vegetable Spring Rolls,  Spicy Chicken Skewers, Mini Yorkshire Pudding and Roast Beef, Thai Fish Cakes, Mini Bangers and Mash, and Parmesan Risotto Lollipops were devoured.

The catering was in full swing and canapés being dished out, and as this took place, a Medium Bodied Fruity Chilean Malbec  and Dry Tropical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc were served. The evening was already a great success with invited guests attending in their droves.

As people started to fill up, on drink as well as food, we thought it best to send out the last remaining three canapés – dessert! Shot glasses of Lemon Posset with a Red Berry Coulis, Soft Dark Chocolate Marquise with a Praline Topping and a Mini Banoffee Pie of Caramelised Banana and Salted Caramel were all sent from the kitchen for guests to enjoy.

As the night came to an end and the last few exited the building, it was clear to see everyone had had such a great time and we hope CoStar Group UK enjoy their new offices in Manchester as much as we enjoyed catering their event.
