A Letter from The Mother of The Bride

It’s always a pleasure and privilege to receive lovely messages of praise from our brides and grooms themselves, but when, as we did yesterday, you receive glowing commendation from the bride’s mother it filled us with joy and happiness.

 

The letter was such a glowing recommendation of our contribution to Anna and Euan’s wedding on Saturday 15th November 2014 in Eccelston, Cheshire, that we thought it only right to share it with you all.

 

So here it is…

 

Sam,

 You did an excellent  job at the wedding back in November. We were so impressed by the quality and presentation of the food, including your attention to detail. You had a much clearer idea of the structure of the reception than we did, and we appreciated your discreet, helpful and timely suggestions as the afternoon and evening unfolded, and  when we met and sampled your stunning food in the months before.

 The canapés were the most delicious I’ve ever tasted! Served in a professional manner. Many of the guests commented during and after the event how professional, friendly, polite and helpful the waiting on staff were, and how impressed they were with the food.

 Our meal was hot and tasty, perfectly cooked – exactly what we’d hoped for. The flavours witnessed to the high standards of the ingredients and cooking. It was served quickly and efficiently and looked stylish. Your attention to detail raised the meal from “good” to “excellent”. The high standards continued with the mouth-wateringly good desserts – I just had to try all of them!

 The evening buffet looked generous and appetising, with delicious pates and first class cheese boards, again beautifully, stylishly and appetisingly presented.

 I don’t know how you managed to produce such gourmet-food from the modest kitchen in the hall, but you did – clearing away and leaving just as you found it, thank you! Your food tasted “just cooked” and  full of flavour, unlike the usual wedding food, which often has that mass-produced-been kept -warm -for-hours-taste. Well done!

 Your culinary and organisational skills and your polite and friendly manner contributed so much to making the wedding such a happy and memorable day.
